Finally found another Sikh blog...
...except that it totally reeks of left-wing drivel....
Sounds like a professor of something at some University in the greater Boston area. Bloody elitist intellectuals.
There's only one post of his that I actually enjoyed, and naturally that post came a few days after November 2nd. And I don't think I need to mention that I didn't enjoy the post itself, just the generally desperate, delusional nature of his rant.
Kerry's considerable advantages, as well as Bush's serious deficiencies, were completely nullified by the targeted sliming of Kerry for so long and in such a widespread way.
After that, he presents a "vast left wing conspiracy" framework - so good for him.
I'm going to go off on a seperate rant here but, why is it that all the elitist liberals, like the professor I just linked to, assume that its only right wingers who are mislead by a "targetted sliming". Unfortunately, I'm surrounded by a far greater proportion of left wingers, and the image they have of Bush is infinitely worse than the image right wingers have of Kerry. Sure, people might have voted for Bush because of "identity issues", i.e. the sharing of values, because he seemed more authentic in his faith, etc. but how is that image worse or more inaccurate than the image that the vast majority of the democratic electorate had of Bush? (assuming that Bush voters voted "for" Bush, while Kerry voters voted "against" Bush) And even the arguments made against Kerry by the Bush campaign were largely softer ("flip flopping", "most liberal..") than Kerry's arguments which were about putting American lives in danger and misleading (lying to) the American public.
The Monger made an excellent post a couple of days ago, presenting the only two rational or moral arguments for not supporting the war in Iraq. He details the isolationist argument and the practical argument (neither of these argument is espoused by left wingers). He went onto argue that every other argument against the war is "stupid". Yes, I totally agree, but he missed one important point. Every other argument against the war is premised on two central beliefs, a) that Bush is a disingenuous liar and b) that Bush is a war-profiteer. Both of these arguments are incredibly stupid, but for most left-wingers, they actually have to be convinced logically that Bush is neither a war profiteer nor a methodical, purposeful killer of Muslims. Can this ever be done? For most left-wingers it can never be done. However, for a lot of youth who are still developing their worldview, it is possible. Calling every other argument "stupid" or "evil" is true... however, it might be neccesary to go easier on some younger people who aren't as rabidly partisan as their older lefty counterparts. Nowadays, in order to be a lefty, its almost a prerequisite to believe that Bush is a cold-blooded murderer, and unfortunately, a lot of younger people, who could just as easily become rational, level-headed conservatives are engulfed by the illogical hatred and lies that they're forced by peer-pressure to believe.
Heck, if it weren't for a few lucky happenings in my life, I'd be one of those irrational "Bush = Hitler" people myself.

Dude, you totally misread me. That post on the 'left wing conspiracy' was satire. I'm not actually advocating any such thing -- it's a pretty silly scenario. If you read it again, you'll see.
And I'm hardly an elitist. There are recent posts on things like Kabaddi, as well as a long post on DJing at a Bhangra party. I like to think that a blogger who knows his Tigerstyle and his DJ APS is not an elitist.
