And back to school...

Back to a semi-regular routine starting Tuesday, when I begin my 6th semester at UBC. Only 2 more to go after this one...

Three of my classes are carrying forward from last semester, and I'm starting two new classes as well.

The continuing classes are on Sikhism, the History of Modern India, and on the History of International Relations during the twentieth century.

I would offer my opinions and thoughts on those classes, but there's about a 1-2% chance that my professors might eventually encounter what I have to say about them, so why would I take that risk?

My two new classes are on the History of Modern France (since 1900) which replaces a course on the History of pre-modern India, and finally a course on the American Revolution which replaces a course on the History of Colonial America.

I'll also be busy for the next month helping out with the UBC Sikh Students Assocations' Annual Conference On Leadership... but that's mostly fun anyway.

Oh and lastly, I'm up for a Canadian Weblog Award on this site. Since I assume that a lot of people would have no idea on who to vote for (in most of the categories), let me offer my endorsements.

1) Let It Bleed
2) The Heart of the Matter
3) Brock: On the Attack
4) Western Standard (The Shotgun)
5) The Meatriarchy - (Yes, even though I'm a vegetarian)
6) Ghost of a Flea (or anyone really - I don't really read any of the nominees)
7) Me (I'm not even going to make the effort to phrase that in any other way.)
8) Polspy (Excuse the offensive picture of "Canada's Greatest Prime Minister")
